00:30 – How to work with other people
00:50 – How much money was put in?
01:10 – The golden rule

Hi everybody, my name is Rick Otton from rickotton.co.uk. I was teaching some of my Go Direct mentoring students the other day on ways to buy houses with other people. How do you buy houses, involve other people in the negotiation in such a way that both parties always work together and the property deal actually comes together? That’s what this video is about today.

Hi everybody, it’s Rick Otton. Here’s how you work with other people in property negotiations: never invest more than what the other person has invested.

Only the other day, my Go Direct student was running around researching property for another person, and I asked him how much money, or time, or life energy has the other person invested in this negotiation so far? He said none.

Never invest into a property negotiation unless the other person is equally invested. They have to be equally invested either by cash, time, or the exertion of life energy. Remember, when you’re working with or for somebody else in a property negotiation or partnering up, make sure both parties have invested the same amount of life energy, time, or money in order to get an equal result, otherwise someone is likely to pull out and your transaction will fall apart.

My name is Rick Otton. I hope you enjoyed the video, and if you did, share it with your friends and click here to learn more.
